Product description

This miniature flanged ball bearing with a 4 mm bore is used to support shafts in compact designs. The flange enables axial fastening without additional mounting components and saves installation space. The double-sided steel shield protects the rolling elements from contamination, but requires occasional inspection in dusty conditions.

The bearing is designed for speeds of up to 35,000 rpm and is suitable for electric drives, gear transmissions, and spindles in laboratory setups, prototypes, and test systems. Typical applications include automated small-scale systems, measuring instruments, and combinations with micro gearboxes in robotics applications.

Lubricant is required for continuous operation under high loads. Bearing performance decreases at temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius or above 80 degrees Celsius. The axial force should not exceed 20 percent of the radial load.

When installing it in electromechanical systems, ensure that the flange is positively secured and cannot slip.
