Product description
This kit for a miniature replica of a soapbox car consists of sheet steel parts and plastic components and is assembled by screwing together individual assemblies. The pre-assembled welded joints significantly speed up the build.
Assembly requires only basic hand tools. All connections are made using hand screws or push-fit connections that can be undone again if needed. This makes the kit suitable for repeated disassembly and reassembly, for example to replace individual parts or test different variants.
The finished 1:10 scale model can drive on level surfaces and demonstrates the basic principle of a soapbox car, a vehicle without an engine that is moved by steering and shifting weight. It is suitable for school projects to understand vehicle mechanics and construction, as well as for display in shop windows or collections.
No additional purchases are necessary, as all required parts are included. Worn or damaged screws and nuts can be purchased from accessory retailers.
Safety information
The sheet steel parts have sharp edges and corners. Care should be taken during assembly to avoid cuts or crush injuries. After assembly, sharp edges can be smoothed with sandpaper or fitted with protective profiles.
