Product Description

These development boards are based on microcontrollers and can be connected to a computer via USB. The integrated CH340 converter converts the USB signals into the microcontroller's serial interface and establishes communication between the computer and the board.

The MEGA2560 offers the largest number of inputs and outputs and the most memory, making it suitable for projects with many sensors or actuators. The UNO and NANO have the same number of pins but differ in their physical form factor, with the NANO fitting into the smallest spaces to save space. All three use 5 V logic and can also safely handle analog inputs of up to 5 V.

Projects involving data logging directly on the board, controlling motors and LEDs, processing sensor values in real time, or communicating with other modules via standard interface protocols such as I2C or SPI can be implemented without major expansions. A typical setup would be a weather station in which various sensors send their data to the board, which processes it and transmits it to the computer.

The Arduino IDE or a compatible development environment is required for programming. Power is supplied via the USB connection during operation; autonomous operation outside the computer requires a separate power supply with a barrel connector. The pinout follows the Arduino standard and enables the use of the wide range of expansion modules and libraries.
