Product description
The transparent PVC tubing is suitable for transporting liquids and gases in laboratory, hobby, and industrial applications. Its transparency allows the flow to be visually inspected without interrupting operation. The tubing is supplied cut to the required length.
The material withstands acids, bases, and many organic solvents, provided they are not too aggressive and the operating temperature remains between approximately minus 10 and plus 60 degrees Celsius. A chemical compatibility test with the specific medium is nevertheless advisable, especially in the case of prolonged contact or higher temperatures.
The tubing is used in water circuits, aquarium systems, laboratory applications, and wherever the medium needs to remain visible and the pressure is low. It can also be used as protective tubing for electrical cables, provided it is not subjected to high mechanical loads.
Hose clamps or push-fit connectors are required for connection and must be purchased separately. The appropriate diameter must be selected for the intended application.
Safety information
Contact with aggressive chemicals may impair compatibility and service life; check before use with solvents or concentrated acids. Pressure vessels or high-pressure systems are not permitted. The tubing is a consumable; damaged or aged sections must be replaced.
