Product description
This LED-illuminated rocker switch reliably switches loads of up to 12 A on and off at a 12 V power source. The integrated LED indicates the switching state and also serves as an operating aid. Multiple LED colors enable color-coded identification of different functions in more complex circuits.
The robust rocker design with its wide actuating surface enables fatigue-free operation, even when wearing gloves or from a greater distance. The switching contact galvanically disconnects or connects the load without the need for additional electronics. No calibration or adjustment is required.
The switch is suitable for mobile 12 V power supplies such as motorhomes, boats, or camping systems, for building switch and control panels in laboratories, and for machines with a 12 V onboard electrical system. In devices where the respective switching function should be visible, the LED also provides visual feedback.
Only a suitable power source supplying an operating voltage of 12 V DC is required for connection. The LED is powered via the switch voltage, so no separate current-limiting resistor is needed here due to the internal circuitry. Loads above 12 A or higher voltages require an additional relay or contactor as a control element.
