Product description
The ribbon cable with 2.54 mm pitch connects pin headers and female headers on test boards or expansion modules. With 64 conductors on a standard pitch, it enables the wiring of multi-pin interfaces without having to handle individual wires.
Ribbon cables save space compared with individual connection wires and enable organized wiring on densely populated boards. The two available lengths cover typical distances between microcontroller boards and sensor modules or expansion boards. The flat, wide design makes routing between assemblies easier and simplifies modifications.
In prototyping setups, they can connect a main board to several sensor modules, for example, or link different expansion stages in stackable computers and microcontroller systems. Ribbon cables are also practical tools for connecting logic analyzers or tapping signals during development.
