Product Description
This push-button switch controls electrical circuits with visual feedback. The robust metal housing with a matte black surface features an illuminated ring around the push button, whose color varies depending on the version. The switch is operated from the front and can be secured from the rear in a 19 mm hole using the included mounting ring.
The switching function and LED illumination operate completely independently. Pressing the button opens or closes a contact for the connected circuit, while the LED is supplied with 3 to 9 V via a separate line. This allows the LED ring to be used as an independent operating indicator, for example to display the status of a device without the button itself having to be pressed.
The switch is used in control cabinets and control panels, in control devices, as well as in model-making projects and DIY electronics. In every application, the combination of a mechanical switch and illuminated feedback provides reliable and visible control of the operating status.
For commissioning, a separate power supply for the LED ring is required in addition to the switching line. This power supply must be within the voltage range of 3 to 9 V. The power supply for the switching contact itself is not restricted to this range and must be dimensioned separately.
