Product description

The six-digit LED segment display is controlled via two digital control lines. The integrated TM1637 controller chip handles the control logic, enabling simple communication with common microcontroller boards. The display therefore requires only two available GPIO pins on the board instead of laboriously wiring individual segments and decimal points.

Brightness and display content can be adjusted in real time. The available color is fixed to the selected variant. With an operating voltage typically ranging from 3.3 V to 5 V, the display is compatible with most commonly used boards; a level shifter may be required for different voltage levels.

The display is suitable for digital time measurements such as stopwatches or countdown timers, frequency counters, voltage or current measuring devices with numerical displays, as well as counters and scores in projects with sensor outputs. In the setup of a simple digital traffic light control with a few sensors, this display manages the two remaining control lines.

Connection is made to available GPIO pins. Software support through common programming libraries is available. The input voltage and signal levels must be compatible with the target system.
