Product description
This LED light strip uses COB technology (Chip on Board), in which multiple light-emitting diodes are positioned closely together on a carrier. This creates an evenly illuminated surface without individual points as found on conventional LED strips. The power supply is 3 V DC, so external batteries or small power supplies are used; direct connection to household voltage is not permitted.
The self-adhesive backing allows mounting on surfaces such as wood, plastic, or metal without drilling or screws. The strip can be cut every 10 cm, allowing lengths to be adjusted to the desired size. Different lengths and color temperatures are available depending on the version.
The COB design makes this light strip suitable for decorative and functional lighting, such as indirect illumination behind furniture, accent lighting for shelves and display cases, interior design of enclosures, or marking areas in model making and prototyping. It also provides a safe basis for portable projects, such as LED vests or backpacks, thanks to its low operating voltage.
A 3 V power source, such as a battery pack or a suitable power supply, is required for operation. The connection is made at the wire ends. Mounting on very porous or uneven surfaces reduces the adhesive's grip.
