Product description
The female header connects external circuits to prototyping boards and prototype boards. With a 2.54 mm pitch, it fits standard perfboards and facilitates the replacement of modules without soldering.
The dual-row arrangement uses space efficiently. The 3 mm-long pins fit reliably into the standard holes of prototyping boards while providing sufficient contact length for a secure hold. Gold-plated contacts prevent oxidation and ensure reliable connections over many mating cycles.
The different versions with varying numbers of contacts enable flexible solutions, whether for narrow connections between two boards or for more extensive data buses. Typical applications include expanding microcontroller boards with sensors and modules, temporary wiring of prototypes, or quickly replacing assemblies in test setups.
No additional accessories are required for operation. The female header fits all common prototyping boards with a 2.54 mm pitch and is inserted through the PCB from the board side and soldered.
