Product description
This connector terminal connects multiple electrical wires without tools and without soldering. After stripping the insulation, each conductor is inserted into its own opening, where it is held by a spring-loaded contact. An integrated lever for each terminal point opens and closes the contact, enabling the conductor to be inserted and then securing it permanently. Each point can be released individually without affecting the other connections.
The terminal accommodates conductor cross-sections from 0.08 to 2.5 mm² and is designed for up to 16 A at a maximum of 250 V. The gray plastic housing with orange-marked levers immediately shows where the operating elements are located. The versions with 2 to 5 conductor connections make it possible to bring multiple wires together at one point; all conductors within a terminal point are electrically connected to one another.
Typical applications include junction boxes and connecting wires, for example when connecting lights or splitting and extending power cables. The releasable, tool-free connection is also suitable for speaker cables when connections need to be disconnected and re-established frequently.
Suitable only for use under normal indoor ambient conditions. Use in electrical installations or near household power circuits must be carried out by a qualified electrician.
