Product description

The lithium battery is an energy storage device for mobile or portable devices whose power supply is not permanently connected to a mains outlet. The integrated protection module provides overcharge, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection; the battery automatically switches off under critical conditions, thereby protecting itself.

The LCD display shows the current charge level in four stages. With a capacity of 3 Ah, the battery provides sufficient energy for several hours of continuous operation with low to medium power consumption. The nominal voltage of 3.7 V requires either a device designed for this voltage or a voltage converter for other system voltages.

Possible applications include wireless sensor networks, portable measuring instruments, LED lights for mobile use, or backup power during outages in battery-backed circuits. In field tests, the capacity is sufficient for typical measurement projects lasting several hours to one day, depending on the power consumption of the connected device.

Operation requires a device designed for 3.7 V, or the battery can be adapted to other system voltages using a voltage converter. The protection module cannot be deactivated; in the event of overcurrent or a short circuit, the battery automatically switches off to protect itself. Recovery is possible, but in this case requires removing the short circuit and allowing a short rest period.
