Description
Product overview
- Linear bearing for shafts with a 10 mm diameter
- Dimensions 10 * 19 * 29 mm
- Open design without seals
- Four rows of four balls each
- Self-locking under radial load
Product description
The LM10UU linear bearing enables smooth movement on steel shafts with a 10 mm diameter. The four ball tracks absorb radial loads and keep the shaft centered during linear movement. The bearing is pushed directly onto a 10 mm shaft and requires no additional fastening.
The open design without sealing lips means low friction and wear rates with consistent lubrication. However, dirt can easily penetrate, which limits use in dusty or damp environments. Maintained with light oil or multipurpose grease, the bearing enables several thousand operating hours.
Typical applications include hobby CNC machines, 3D printers with linear axes, and laboratory setups with precise linear movements. The load capacity is insufficient for heavy-duty industrial applications.
Operation requires a straight, unbent 10 mm steel shaft. The bearing itself maintains centering; additional guidance is only necessary for longer shafts with a cantilever length exceeding 500 mm.
Safety information
The linear bearing contains hardened steel balls under preload. There is a risk of crushing during assembly and disassembly. The bearing is not intended for use in machines that could endanger people; it is intended exclusively for testing purposes and prototype development in enclosed setups.
