Product Description
This soldering kit teaches basic soldering techniques using a circuit that works independently after assembly. The component consists of just a few components connected in series; an LED lights up when the light-sensitive resistor detects darkness. The series circuit does not require polarity checks for capacitors or electrolytic components, only for the LED connection.
The photoresistor changes its resistance depending on the brightness, adjusting the current flowing through the LED. No calibration is required. After soldering, the movable figure made from paper wire is bent into shape, giving the circuit an appealing appearance.
Applications include electronics beginner projects, such as workshops for schoolchildren or Maker Days. The project demonstrates soldered connections and LED operation without programming or digital electronics. It is also suitable as desk decoration that lights up depending on the level of darkness.
Two AA batteries are required for operation; a battery holder is not included with the kit. All components are included and can be assembled by soldering. The circuit works immediately after the final solder joint without any further adjustment.
Safety Notice
Soldering requires safe handling of soldering irons and lead-containing materials. This kit is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. If you have questions about lead-free or lead-containing solder or safe handling, consult a qualified person before starting work.
