Product description
The connector serves as the receiving side for the JST-XH plug and connects sensors, motors, or batteries to development boards and project circuits. The gold-plated contacts ensure secure, oxidation-free connections over many mating cycles.
The 2.54 mm pitch corresponds to the standard hole spacing on PCBs, allowing the receptacle to be soldered directly in place. The 10-pin design enables up to three amperes per contact in parallel, depending on how many lines are carrying current.
The receptacle is used in robotics projects with multimotor drives, battery packs for multichannel sensor networks, and modular power distribution systems. It is also found in drone ESC systems, where reliable plug connections are required under vibration.
For connection, the wires require cross-sections from 0.08 to 0.2 mm²; matching crimp contacts are available separately. The maximum operating voltage is 57 V DC, which excludes use in high-voltage applications.
Safety information
Crimp contacts must be inserted correctly into the receptacle housing to prevent short circuits. The product is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes and is not suitable for continuous operation in household electrical circuits. When working on or near electrical installations, consult a qualified electrician.
