Product description
This connection cable connects Grove-compatible sensors and modules to microcontroller boards or other circuits. The standardized HY2.0 connector is located on one side, while the other side is unterminated and can be soldered, clamped, or connected to pins directly.
The four cores enable connections for I2C, SPI, serial interfaces, or analog signals, depending on the application. With a length of 50 cm, spatially separated components can be connected without compromising signal quality. The 0.5 mm² cross-sectional area is suitable for low-power applications with moderate currents of up to approximately 2 A per core.
Typical applications include prototyping setups in which ready-made Grove sensors are combined with non-Grove components, or the expansion of existing wiring. The open end is also helpful when modifying experimental setups where the connectors do not fit properly, allowing for flexible adaptation.
Safety information
The cable is intended exclusively for prototyping, testing, and development purposes and is not suitable for installation in household electrical circuits. Polarity must be observed during wiring to prevent damage to connected modules. Work on or near electrical installations is reserved for qualified electricians; if you are unsure, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
