Product Description
This electronic speed controller controls brushless motors in multicopters and aircraft models. It regulates the power supply between the battery and motor and handles control via PWM signals from the radio receiver or a flight controller.
The controller supports battery voltages from 2S to 6S, covering lithium-polymer batteries between 7.4 and 22.2 volts. This enables use in lightweight drones as well as larger models. The integrated 5-volt, 3-amp BEC powers radio receivers, servo controls, and sensors without requiring a separate power supply module.
The controller can be programmed via a USB connection or directly from the transmitter to adjust the motor rotation direction, braking behavior, and throttle response. Firmware updates are available online. For unmanned aerial vehicles used outdoors, the device is protected from moisture and impacts by its epoxy coating.
Typical applications include model aviation with multicopters weighing up to approximately 1.5 kilograms or fast racing drones with high power consumption. Fixed-wing models and small VTOL systems can also be operated with this controller. Replacement and repair require knowledge of model electronics and safe soldering practices.
Operation requires a compatible radio control system and a lithium-polymer battery. The motor must be designed for brushless operation. Work on the electrical wiring should only be carried out by people with knowledge of model aviation electronics.
Safety Notice
This controller is not intended for installation in manually operated or stationary electrical devices. It is intended exclusively for building remote-controlled aircraft models and for testing and development purposes. Lithium-polymer batteries require special care during charging, storage, and operation to prevent fires and damage. If there is any uncertainty about safely integrating the controller into model devices or handling the battery, consult a qualified electrician or experienced model builder before commissioning.
