Product description

This copper heatsink lowers the processor's operating temperature by dissipating heat directly from the chip to the surrounding air through an increased surface area. The included thermal pad improves contact between the chip and the heatsink and only needs to be attached.

It is particularly recommended when the single-board computer is to run under load for extended periods and the CPU temperature rises above 60 degrees Celsius. Active cooling is often unnecessary in this case. The small form factor also fits in confined enclosures without obstructing other components.

For installation, simply remove the backing from the thermal pad and press the heatsink firmly onto the processor. No additional fastening is required. Heat dissipation depends on how well the heatsink is ventilated; greater temperature reductions can be achieved through sufficient air circulation inside the device.

Safety information

The heatsink becomes hot during operation. Temperatures above 60 degrees Celsius are possible, and it must not be touched while the device is operating. This heatsink is intended exclusively for prototyping, testing, and development on single-board computers.
