Grove tilt switch SW-200D - digital tilt sensor

Description
Grove - Tilt Switch
The Grove - Tilt Switch is the equivalent of a push button, based on the SW-200D, a tilt-sensitive trigger switch with two balls in one direction. It is used as a digital input. Inside the tilt switch is a pair of balls that make contact with the pins when the housing is upright. When you turn the housing upside down, the balls no longer touch and no connection is made. It is wired to the SIG line; NC is not used in this Grove module.
How does the SW-200D work?
When the product is tilted toward the conductive terminal (end A with silver feet) and the tilt angle exceeds 10 degrees, it is an open circuit in the “OFF state.” When the orientation of the product changes from the horizontal position, the trigger terminal (gold-foot pin end C) is below the horizontal tilt angle by more than 10 degrees. It is a closed circuit in the “ON state.”

What is Grove?
Grove makes connecting and experimenting easier and simplifies the prototyping process. No jumpers or soldering are required. More than 300 Grove modules have been developed, covering a wide range of applications and meeting a variety of requirements. Not only the hardware but also the software is open source. Grove users, especially beginners, are provided with instructional PDF documents and a wiki.
We offer various Grove shields to enable connections to the Grove system with various microcontrollers.
