The Grove Button is a push-button module. It contains an independent “momentary on/off” button (the button automatically returns to its original position when released). The button outputs a HIGH signal when pressed and a LOW signal when released. Sig stands for signal, while NC stands for not connected. There is also a Grove - Button (P) version, in which the Grove connector is shifted toward the back.
