This goes with it
Description
Product Overview
- Expansion board for multiplying GPIO connections on microcontroller boards
- Available via header pins with female contacts
- Enables parallel control of multiple inputs and outputs
- Plug connections without soldering
- Reduces wiring effort in multichannel projects
Product Description
This expansion board increases the number of available GPIO connections on common microcontroller boards through plug connections. The board itself does not cause any voltage drop and requires no additional power supply, as it only forwards the signals from the main board.
The header pins are plugged into the microcontroller board on one side, while the female contacts on the other side provide multiple parallel connections. This eliminates soldering work, and individual jumper wires can be connected to the female contacts without changing the signal states.
Typical applications include controlling multiple LEDs or relays from a single board, reading several switches or sensors simultaneously, and building circuits with multiple power consumers on parallel outputs. The plug-in design is particularly useful for prototypes with changing requirements, as individual contacts remain freely assignable.
Exact compatibility depends on the header type and pitch of the board used. Information about the connector row and pitch is required to ensure the correct fit.
Safety Notice
The board is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. It must not be installed in the household electrical circuit. Ensure that the connections are correctly polarized to prevent damage to the electronics; if you are unsure, consult a qualified electrician before commissioning.
