Product Description
This GPIO adapter expands the connection options of the Micro Bit by providing a convenient alternative to plugging components in directly. The adapter accesses all 19 available GPIO pins and routes them to screw terminals, where sensors, actuators, and other modules can be connected using stripped wires.
Maintaining durability without soldering means that circuits can be rebuilt multiple times without damaging the components. Screw terminals reliably secure the connections even during regular reconfiguration. This mechanical connection method is particularly suitable for educational applications and development phases in which circuits are frequently modified.
For prototyping, all available pins can be accessed simultaneously, simplifying experimental setups with multiple sensors. Connecting simple switches, LEDs, or motor controllers via external driver components also reduces potential sources of error to the screw connection. The circuit board itself measures less than 10 * 10 cm and takes up minimal space.
The Micro Bit itself is required for operation and the adapter is plugged into it.
