Product Description
This continuously rotating servo drives mechanisms that require constant rotation instead of moving to a fixed angle like conventional servos. The 270-degree version limits rotation to less than one complete turn. The torque of 10 kg·cm is sufficient for light to medium loads such as joints on robot models, gears, or driven rollers.
The servo is controlled via a PWM signal from the controller board. The operating voltage is between 4.8 and 6 V, allowing it to be operated with the output voltage of many single-board computers and microcontroller boards. If the available voltage is too low, the power decreases; voltages above 6 V shorten the service life. A separate power supply for the servo reduces the load on the board's power supply when using multiple servos.
Applications include vehicle drives for robotic vehicles, stirrers in manipulators, propeller drives in model aircraft, or rotating platforms in project assemblies. Multiple servos can be controlled in parallel via individual digital outputs, provided that the power supply can deliver the total current.
Operation requires a controller board with PWM-capable digital outputs and a power supply with sufficient current, at least 500 mA per servo. The connector and cable length use the standard RC format; observe the polarity when connecting. Continuous rotation means that this servo cannot be positioned at an absolute angle like a conventional servo.
