Product Description

The foot switch enables hands-free control of electrical devices and circuits. Two independent foot pedals control separate switching functions without requiring the use of your hands. The aluminum die-cast housing withstands even harsh environments over extended periods.

Each pedal closes or opens a contact rated for up to 250 V AC and 10 A. The die-cast construction provides wear resistance under repeated operation. Connection is made via a cable with separate contact loops for each pedal, allowing both buttons to switch or signal loads independently of one another.

In workshops, the switch is often used with presses or machines that require both of the operator's hands. Medical devices use it as a foot trigger, for example during recording or testing. It can also be integrated into older control systems for lighting or alarms. Its key feature is its robust construction, which enables years of use without maintenance.

The contact loops must be connected to control devices or contactors that carry the switched load. An intermediate relay is required for higher currents or voltages above 250 V AC. In wet conditions, the housing should be protected from direct exposure to flowing water, even though it is splash-resistant.
