Product description

The case with an integrated fan provides protection and heat management for Raspberry Pi single-board computers. The fan connects directly to the board's GPIO pins and cools by convection, helping to prevent thermal throttling even under load, which is particularly important during full CPU utilization over extended periods.

Thanks to the open design areas, all relevant connectors remain accessible, including the USB ports, network socket, HDMI, audio jack and GPIO header. Camera and display ribbons can also be inserted with the case mounted. The thermal pads on the inside additionally provide a direct heat path from the CPU to the case.

Typical applications include continuous operation as a media server or network storage device, where continuous CPU usage occurs, as well as camera systems with image processing or environmental monitoring with multiple active sensors. The ventilation also contributes to reliable operating temperatures in compact case assemblies with limited air space.

The case fits the models listed above; compatibility between model variants should be checked before purchase, as the boards have different dimensions. Fan operation requires a suitable GPIO power limit or PWM signal; simple continuous operation via the pins requires planning at the operating system level.
