Product description
This brushless motor with 935 kV (revolutions per volt of input voltage) is suitable for powering lightweight multicopter systems. The counterclockwise (CCW) version, together with a clockwise version, forms the basis for stable hovering, as the rotation of the propellers compensates for the opposing torques.
The motor requires an electronic speed controller (ESC) for operation, which converts the input voltage into high-frequency commutation pulses. With an allowable operating voltage between 2 and 3 lithium-polymer battery cells (7.4 to 11.1 V), the motor generates approximately 350 to 500 g of thrust, depending on the propeller dimensions, with a current draw of up to 12 A. This power class is suitable for quadcopters with a total weight under 1 kg and for medium-sized FPV drones (First-Person View).
Four of these motors, together with a battery, a 4-in-1 ESC or four separate ESC modules, and propellers, form the propulsion system of a quadcopter. For smaller projects, the motor can also be used in tricopter or hexacopter configurations. The standardized mounting holes enable easy installation on common drone frames.
Required components include a suitable ESC with a current rating of at least 12 A, 8- to 10-inch propellers, a LiPo battery with a suitably rated charger, and basic knowledge of ESC programming and propeller orientation.
