Product Description

The sound level meter measures sound levels in industrial, commercial, and private environments. Frequency weighting in accordance with DIN 61672-1 enables compliant measurements, while the measurement range of 30 to 130 dB covers applications from quiet offices to measuring noise from machinery. The integrated microphone directly detects sound pressure fluctuations and converts them into digital readings.

Two AA batteries power the device, enabling measurement times of up to 20 hours without a power supply. The Max Hold function automatically records peak levels in case brief volume peaks are missed. The integrated data logger stores up to 32000 readings with precise timestamps for later analysis on a computer.

Typical applications include workplace noise assessments, monitoring noise emissions from construction machinery or equipment, and preventive maximum-level measurements at event venues. The device also provides reliable measurement data for checking soundproofing measures in residential buildings.

The included 94 dB calibration block helps ensure measurement reliability. A computer with a standard USB port is required to analyze large quantities of data; the necessary software is included. Measurements taken in the immediate vicinity of vibrations may result in inaccuracies.

Safety Information

The device is not intended for diagnosing hearing damage. It is intended exclusively for measurement and development purposes in laboratory and field environments. When taking measurements in environments with potentially explosive substances, consult a qualified electrician.
