Product Description
The plastic digital caliper measures external, internal, and depth dimensions up to 150 mm with an accuracy of ±0.1 mm. The glass-fiber-reinforced plastic housing makes the caliper significantly less susceptible to breakage than metal versions, making it more economical for workshops where it is frequently dropped. The LCD display shows measurements in millimeters and switches off automatically after several minutes of inactivity.
The caliper is powered by a 1.5 V LR44 or SR44 battery, which typically lasts several months. No calibration function is provided; the slider is adjusted at the factory. The plastic housing makes it considerably easier to handle, as the device is much lighter than comparable steel versions.
Applications include quick checks in manufacturing, model making, prototype development, and small workshops where a robust, handy measuring instrument is needed without a major investment. The plastic design is particularly suitable for environments where magnets or steel shavings could cause problems.
A replacement battery should be kept on hand in good time. Measurements above 150 mm are not possible.
Safety Information
The batteries must never be swallowed and must be kept out of the reach of small children. The device is intended exclusively for measurement purposes in workshops and for hobby use. If moving parts show signs of wear, the caliper should no longer be used for critical measurements.
