Product description
A USB cable tester is used to quickly check data connections and power supply lines in USB cables. The device detects breaks, contact faults, and short circuits that may occur through frequent use or may have been present from the factory.
The testing device operates via the USB connection without a separate power source. A visual indicator immediately signals whether all conductors are continuous and correctly assigned. Defective contacts or swapped wires are reliably detected, saving the time-consuming process of trying out multiple cables.
When working on projects with smartphones and tablets, the question regularly arises whether a non-functioning device has a faulty cable or a software problem. The tester is equally useful when a newly purchased cable is already defective or when stored cables need to be checked for reliable operation after a long period of time. For repair shops and makerspaces, rapid cable diagnosis is valuable for avoiding confusion caused by incorrect assumptions.
Safety notice
This testing device is intended exclusively for mobile testing of USB cables with iOS and Android devices. It is not suitable for testing power cables or wiring in household electrical circuits. The device is intended solely for testing and development purposes.
