Product Description

This cable terminal set contains crimp contacts and sleeves for creating pre-assembled connections on stranded wire. The crimp connection eliminates the need for a soldering iron, saves time, and requires only a crimping tool as an additional tool. The male and female connectors fit standard PCB headers and connector systems with a 2.8 mm pin spacing.

The individual contacts are crimped onto the stripped wire ends and then inserted into the insulating sleeves, creating a gas-tight, reliable connection. This eliminates sources of error when soldering in confined spaces and significantly reduces processing time.

Typical applications include quickly assembling sensor cables, connecting power supplies to prototype boards, and setting up test systems with interchangeable connections. In robotics and modular systems, the plug-in connection allows repeated connecting and disconnecting without any loss of quality.

A crimping tool, wire stripper or knife, and the microcontroller board with suitable pin headers are required. The set covers wire cross-sections up to 1.5 mm²; thicker or thinner wires require separate contact sizes.
