Product Description
The wheel unit combines the rim and tire as one unit for mobile robot platforms and model vehicles. The 83 mm rim provides sufficient diameter for stable movement on level surfaces and moderate unevenness.
The mounting hub has holes for screwing it to geared motors or wheel hubs. This enables quick and secure attachment to chassis systems. The red color with chrome details contributes to the visual design.
Applications include multi-wheeled robot platforms with reduced mileage requirements, small model vehicles, and prototypes with electric motors in the range of up to approximately 3 to 4 kg total mass. More heavily loaded systems require more robust wheel units.
For operation, the wheel requires a suitable motor or gearbox with a compatible hub or axle. The tires should be checked regularly for wear and replaced if necessary. For long-term storage, protection from strong UV exposure is recommended.
