Product description
A case with an integrated fan protects the single-board computer from dust and mechanical damage, while heat conduction via a metal insert reliably prevents overheating. The active fan connects directly to the board and does not require a separate power supply.
The computer operates more thermally stably under load, which is particularly relevant for continuous applications or in warm environments. This eliminates processor speed throttling caused by thermal protection. The two-piece case can be opened without tools to upgrade the computer when needed.
Typical applications include stationary systems in industrial or server cabinets, media centers with longer operating periods, and outdoor weather station setups. When used as network storage or in cluster configurations, the case also reduces the risk of temperature-related failures.
