Slide switch for VCC and VM on the ServoBoard

Use the slide switch to select whether the servo motors are powered by the Calliope mini's supply voltage (VCC) or the motor voltage (VM). VCC is used by default. If a servo rotates too slowly, it can be switched to VM.

Connecting DC motors

Up to 2 DC motors can be connected via the screw terminals. A screwdriver is used to secure the wires.

DC motors connected to the ServoBoard's screw terminals

In MakeCode, the motors are controlled using the commands in the Motors category.

Motor commands for the ServoBoard in MakeCode

The ServoBoard can also be programmed with other editors, provided they support the pins used.
