Product Description
A brushless DC motor for high-frequency applications requiring high rotational speeds. With a speed constant of 1200 rpm per volt, this model reaches speeds of approximately 13,300 rpm at the maximum voltage of 11.1 V. Its short design with a compact flange allows installation in confined spaces.
The motor requires a brushless controller to drive the three windings with phase shifts. The current draw of up to 30 A requires a controller with the appropriate power rating and a high-performance battery pack; individual NiMH or Li-Po cells are not sufficient. The high rotational speed makes the motor ideal for fast model aircraft and multicopters, where each propeller revolution is converted directly into thrust. In high-speed vehicle models, the power can also be used through gearing or directly.
Operation requires a brushless controller, a lithium-polymer battery with a discharge current of at least 30 A, and a suitable motor shaft with a propeller or gear. The 3.17 mm shaft size is not standardized, so adapters or custom mounting components are often necessary.
Safety Notice
When used as intended in models (aircraft, vehicles), high rotational speeds create a risk of injury. Propellers or other drive components may only be changed when the motor is stationary. This motor is intended exclusively for the construction and operation of model projects, not for integration into household appliances or connection to electrical installations. If you are unsure about safe use, consult a qualified electrician.
