Product description
This battery holder accommodates two AAA cells and is mounted directly onto the circuit board using a solder tab. The power supply is then provided from this source without additional plug connections.
The nominal voltage of 3 V enables direct operation of modules with 3.3 V logic; a voltage regulator or level shifter is required for 5 V systems. Two AAA cells provide a capacity of approximately 600 to 1000 mAh, allowing operating times ranging from several hours to several weeks, depending on power consumption.
The compact design makes it suitable for use in portable measuring instruments, wireless sensor networks, and mobile experimental setups. This type of holder is also commonly used in remote controls for small models or in autonomous data loggers.
Separate power supply outside the circuit board is not required for commissioning. Only two identical AAA rechargeable batteries or batteries and a soldering iron are needed to attach it to the circuit board.
Safety information
Ensure the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity; incorrect polarity can damage circuit boards and modules. This battery holder is intended exclusively for building prototypes and for testing and development purposes. It is not intended for connection to the mains power supply and must not be used as a power source for high-load applications.
