Product Description
This battery holder with an integrated cable supplies electronic circuits and experiments with 6 V DC. Four AA cells connected in series generate the output voltage, which is routed to the project through the pre-installed cable. This eliminates soldering and wiring work and makes the power supply replaceable.
The four cells sit in separate compartments, each with a spring contact at the negative terminal. This prevents an individual battery from slipping or being inserted the wrong way around. The holder is simply loaded from the top and securely holds the cells until they are replaced.
Ideal for portable experiments, LED circuits, small motors, or sensor projects that are intended to operate without an external power supply. With this voltage source, standard 5 V circuits operate slightly above their rated voltage; for critical applications, a simple voltage regulator should be connected in between. During continuous operation, the output voltage decreases over time, depending on the load's current consumption.
Four AA batteries, which must be purchased separately, are required for operation. The pre-installed cable with plug contacts connects directly to the target circuit or can be connected manually to wires.
