Product description

The aluminium case provides compact protection for a single-board computer and is particularly suitable where space is limited. The ultra-thin design, with a height of only 13 mm, allows installation in confined spaces, such as cabinets, under desks, or inside other devices where conventional plastic cases do not fit. Despite its minimal height, full access to all standard interfaces is maintained.

Heat is dissipated directly through the aluminium contact between the case and the board. This provides better cooling than purely plastic solutions and raises throttling thresholds during prolonged loads. Assembly requires no additional tools: the board is simply clamped between the case and the cover. All ports and the GPIO header remain fully accessible.

The case is suitable for projects where the single-board computer is permanently installed in a device and visible connectors would cause problems or obstructions. Its enclosed design also offers advantages as transport protection for mobile applications or when operating in environments with dust or moisture. A suitable power supply and, if necessary, a memory card are required for operation in addition to the case.
