Product description

This adapter board connects flat ribbon cables with a fine 0.5 mm pitch to the standard 1.0 mm pin headers of breadboards and test boards. The flat ribbon cable end has 30 contacts in the FPC/FFC standard, while the opposite side provides a DIP30 pin header for direct plug-in connection without soldering.

The product is purely passive and serves as a mechanical and electrical connection between the two connector systems. Cables with very fine pitches (0.5 mm) can be adapted for use with conventional prototyping boards, without requiring additional electronics or converters.

These adapters are often used to connect flat-panel displays, camera interface cables, or miniaturized sensor modules to standard prototyping platforms.
