Product description
This speaker combines amplification and a transducer in a single device. The integrated audio amplifier eliminates the need for a separate amplifier stage, provided the audio source supplies a suitable output signal.
The three-pin JST-XH2 connector carries both the audio signal and the power supply. This significantly reduces wiring effort and makes connections interchangeable, without the need to install separate power cables.
The speaker is suitable for alarm systems in home automation as well as portable measuring instruments and robot prototypes that output speech or warning tones. It can also be connected directly to the audio output in music projects with microcontroller boards.
A microcontroller or another audio source that supplies an analog audio signal at the connector's voltage level is required. The design and packaging are intended for compact applications; a separate power supply via the connector's third pin ensures stable operation.
