Product Description
This 7-inch TFT display receives its video signal via HDMI and can therefore be connected to any computer, single-board computer, or other HDMI-enabled device. The capacitive touchscreen detects up to five simultaneous touch points and sends them as input signals to the connected device via one of the two Micro-USB ports.
Power is supplied via the second Micro-USB port. Since both the video signal and touch data are transmitted via standardized interfaces (HDMI and USB), no display driver installation is required. The display works immediately after connection.
The display is particularly practical for single-board computers such as the Raspberry Pi, serving as both a monitor and a control element. It is also suitable as an additional screen for desktop computers, a touch panel for control applications, or a portable monitor for mobile devices with an HDMI output. The resolution of 1024*600 pixels provides sufficient space for user interfaces without requiring unnecessary processing power.
Two power sources are required for operation if the connected device does not provide the necessary power via its HDMI port. The display achieves maximum brightness and color fidelity when used with a stable power supply providing sufficient current.
