Product Description
A brushless motor with 920 KV powers drones, multicopters, and RC vehicles. The speed constant of 920 rpm per volt determines the maximum speed at a given voltage and allows the motor to be matched to the propeller or tire size being used. A higher voltage increases the speed accordingly, but also requires a more powerful ESC and power source.
The counterclockwise configuration is required for certain drone flight configurations and cannot be changed without modification. The motor is controlled by a brushless electronic speed controller (ESC), which switches the three phases correctly. Since there are no brushes, wear caused by brush abrasion is eliminated, and the design enables very high speeds in a compact form factor.
Typical applications include fast-flying drones with multiple motors, high-acceleration quadcopters, and FPV racing drones, where the high speed constant is important. The motor is also suitable for lightweight, fast RC vehicles with appropriate tires. However, the motorization must match the overall configuration, particularly the propeller or tires, ESC capacity, and battery capacity.
Operation requires a brushless ESC designed for this speed constant and current draw. The operating voltage depends on the battery or power supply system used, typically ranging from 7.4 to 22.2 volts (2S to 6S LiPo). Oversizing leads to excessive speeds and current draw, while insufficient voltage results in inadequate performance. The motor is intended exclusively for building drones and models and not for other purposes.
Safety Notice
Propellers or wheels must be securely fastened to prevent injuries from rotating parts. When powering the motor during testing, always fully secure or remove the propeller and moving parts. The motor and the controlling ESC are intended exclusively for building prototypes and models and are not suitable for operation in machines involving third parties.
