Product Description
This 12 V axial fan with a JST 2P connector is suitable for targeted heat dissipation in compact electronic assemblies and enclosures. The turbofan impeller generates high airflow at a relatively low speed pulse, effectively reducing heat buildup in confined spaces.
The fan connects directly to 12 V power sources, such as laboratory power supplies or battery packs. The ball bearing significantly reduces wear compared with plain bearings and enables continuous operation without maintenance. The JST connector simplifies mechanical assembly and allows for quick replacements without soldering.
Applications include cooling electronic assemblies during testing and development projects, providing thermal support for 3D printers, and use in enclosure prototypes. The fan is also suitable for laboratory setups that generate heat and require a flat design due to limited space.
Operation requires a stable 12 V DC power source with sufficient current capacity; contrary to common practice, a series resistor is not required because the fan processes the voltage directly. Speed control via PWM signals is possible, but requires a suitable pulse-width modulation controller.
Safety Notice
The fan blade rotates rapidly and poses a crushing and cutting hazard. This module is intended exclusively for prototypes and testing and development purposes. It is not intended for permanent installation in consumer products or connection to the household power supply.
