Product description
This USB multimeter measures DC voltages up to 24 V and currents up to 5 A directly at the device under test and outputs the measured values digitally via the USB connection. The device draws its operating voltage from the USB port itself, so no separate power source is required.
The measured values are shown on the display and simultaneously transmitted to the connected computer. This makes it possible to record and analyze voltage and current curves, for example to log the power consumption of circuits over longer periods or to investigate transient processes. Automatic range selection eliminates manual adjustments and prevents measurement errors caused by incorrect settings.
When building prototypes, the device can be used for quickly diagnosing power supply lines, checking the power consumption of individual modules, or debugging voltage drops in distribution structures. It is particularly useful for verifying whether a planned power supply meets the actual requirements of a new circuit.
A USB port with sufficient power on a computer or power supply module that can provide at least 100 mA is required. The accuracy of ±1 percent applies within the operating range of 0–24 V and 0–5 A; measurements outside these limits are not possible.
