Product Description

The LCD module is suitable for displaying text, patterns, and graphics in circuits and projects with microcontrollers. The parallel 8-bit interface connects the display directly to a controller's data bus without additional serialization electronics.

With a 5 V operating voltage, the module can be connected to common development boards. The blue-green backlight keeps content readable even in ambient light. With 192*64 pixels, the display provides sufficient space for multiline text output or simple graphics.

Typical applications include measuring instruments that continuously display sensor values, control units for machines and systems, and data loggers with local status displays. The active area of approximately 77*39 mm fits into compact enclosures.

Parallel operation requires eight controller data outputs as well as additional control lines; boards with few I/O pins require external demultiplexers. A separate power supply is required for the backlight. Control is performed using libraries or controller code, as no built-in drivers are provided.
