Product Description
These 65 jumper wires connect components on breadboards without soldering. Each wire has a male contact on both ends with the standard 2.54 mm pitch used by the pin headers on Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and comparable boards. They fit both between the holes of a breadboard and directly onto the pin rows of development boards.
The set contains wires in several lengths and colors. Short wires bridge adjacent rows, while longer pieces span connections across the entire board. The color coding makes it easy to distinguish supply voltage, ground, and signal lines at a glance. Since the contacts fit securely but can be removed at any time, a circuit can be reconfigured as often as needed.
These wires are typically used when building test circuits, connecting sensors, LEDs, resistors, and modules to a microcontroller without permanent soldering. Plug-in modules such as real-time clocks, humidity sensors, or SD card readers can also be connected quickly and replaced when necessary. Circuit assembly is iterative, allowing changes to be made within minutes.
The set covers typical projects with individual sensors and output components. Larger setups with many modules may require additional wires. The contacts are not suitable for high-frequency applications or high-current circuits.
