Product Description

The axial fan with JST 2P connector is a high-performance fan for cooling electronics in prototypes and development projects. The JST connector enables direct connection to common microcontroller boards without soldering. At full speed, the device achieves an airflow of 13.9 l/min, making it suitable for cooling power components and voltage regulators with moderate heat generation.

The fan draws approximately 0.5 A at 5 V and can be speed-controlled via PWM signals. This saves electrical energy when full cooling performance is only needed temporarily. Sleeve bearings ensure quiet operation, and the average service life is 10,000 operating hours.

Examples of use include improving heat dissipation in battery-powered robots whose processors heat up under load, or cooling high-brightness LED modules. The fan also contributes to stability in test setups running for extended periods.

A 5 V power supply is required for operation. When using a PWM signal, an output from a microcontroller board is required. The dimensions are not compatible with all enclosures; sufficient space for airflow should be checked before installation.

Safety Information

The fan blades move quickly and continue rotating on their own after the power supply is disconnected until mechanical braking takes effect. Keep fingers and loose parts away from the rotating area.
