Product description
A 4S charge controller manages the safe charging of four 18650 lithium-ion batteries connected in series to a full voltage of 14.8 volts. The module regulates the charging process fully automatically, thereby ensuring optimal cell longevity.
The controller operates according to the constant-current principle followed by constant voltage to reliably prevent overcharging. Integrated balancer electronics compensate for voltage differences between the individual cells during charging, ensuring that all four cells are charged evenly and extending their service life. Additional protection circuits interrupt the charging process as soon as a cell is over-discharged or a short circuit threatens.
The device is used in mobile projects with higher energy requirements, such as cordless power tools, high-output LED systems, or portable devices that use four 18650 cells in series. The automatic control eliminates the need for manual monitoring.
